FAQ
1. Are the player stats 100% accurate?
We are our best to keep them accurate but sometimes things fall through the cracks. Please let us know if you find any discrepancy.
2. Can you add feature “X”?
We read and consider all feature requests. Send them to our twitter (@GoaliePost) or email!
3. How accurate are the starting goalies posted?
For the first 10 years of Goalie Post’s existence (since 2005), we tracked this and were consistently in the 97%-98% range. Some teams refuse to release the information officially until warmups just minutes before the game. So it is advisable that you sign up for email notifications so that you can instantly be made aware of last-minute changes. We have the reputation in the industry for being timely and accurate, and our starting goalie data is used by several prominent sports news websites and television sports news and hockey shows (such as Sportsnet Central).
4. How do I access the email notification page?
On the bottom corner is the Menu icon. Click that and then go to Settings. Check the boxes for the teams you want to follow/get notified about. You must be logged in to see the Settings option.
5. How do I change the site look to a dark setting/light setting?
You do this via the :high_brightness: (sun/brightness) icon in the top right of the screen after clicking the hamburger (three lines) menu on top right.
6. How do I login?
Click Menu at the bottom. If you are not logged in, then logging in will be the only option given. Put in your email address and you will be sent a one-time password (OTP).
7. How do I delete my account?
You can request to delete your account and we will do so after about 24 hours. Within that timeframe, you are able to cancel the request. However, once deletion has been performed, we are unable to get it back.
To delete, go to top right menu, click your profile and on the bottom left, there is a delete account button…
