Columbus Blue Jackets backup goalie Pascal Leclaire had some tests done on his injured ankle at a Cleveland Clinic. The two sides will consult and make a decision in the next few days, however Leclaire has said he wants to give his ankle another week or two before deciding on surgery.
"When he's been healthy, he's been unbelievable, so you don't know how good a guy like Pazzy is. He's been hurt. When he's healthy, I think we've seen what he's like." head coach Ken Hitchcock said referring to the high number of shutouts Leclaire had last season.
