The schedule is being nice to St. Louis. The Blues have four consecutive days off, which seems like a blessing with their current goalie injury issues.
Manny Legace's strained hip-flexor doesn't look serious. He didn't dress Saturday as it was still sore. Basically he's day-to-day and could be ready for action Thursday versus the Carolina Hurricanes.
Saturday morning was the first time Chris Mason has skated since October 16th and his emergence appendectomy. "There's no pain or anything," Mason said. "Hopefully that means I'm good to go. But I think I'm going to take some shots and go from there."
Third string goalie Ben Bishop left Saturday's game with an undisclosed lower-body injury which doesn't appear serious at all. "I didn't really want to come off the ice, but just for precautionary reasons." Bishop said.
