"The Devils recalled goalie Keith Kinkaid from Albany (AHL) today as Martin Brodeur remains day to day with a sore back.

Brodeur injured his back in a recent practice and said he played a few games with soreness until he felt he was unable to start against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday.

In 33 games for Albany, Kinkaid is 17-11-5 with a 2.69 goals-against average and two shutouts."
