Sounds like Nikolai Khabibulin will get the start on Saturday versus the Flames.

"Khabby's going to get the early going because he needs to get his legs under him and his game at the top level. I don't think he feels it's there yet," said Quinn.

Jim Matheson also notes "Jeff Deslauriers could play as many as 25 games this year because starter Nikolai Khabibulin seems comfortable playing about 55 games or so." It does not quote Oilers head coach Pat Quinn.
