While Alex Auld thought the Rangers were interested in bringing him back, John Tortorella admitted that the Rangers have already been looking at potential veteran free agents to back up Henrik Lundqvist . Auld played in only three games after the Rangers claimed him off of waivers from the Stars, all in relief of Lundqvist, and gave up five goals in 119 minutes.
